Aims
St. Matthew’s Church Kindergarten is a Christian and non-profit making Kindergarten which has been open since 1967. The curriculum adopts the heuristic activity teaching method. We integrate Christian love into our teaching, children gain development of morality, intelligence, physical ability, sociality, aesthetics and spirit in a happy and friendly environment.
Curriculum
Themes and activities are used through group learning and free choice learning. There are toys to assist with the mental development and teaching aids are provided to guide learning. Children learn by playing and working in a happy and comfortable environment. We encourage children to use their powers of thinking, memory, creativity, imagination and judgement in carrying out their work in our school.

We adopted Cantonese as the medium of instruction, supplemented with English and Putonghua.
School Holidays
Public holidays, Christmas holidays, Lunar New Year holidays, Easter holidays and Summer holidays. (approved by the Education Bureau)

They are dedicated, experienced, qualified and caring.
Facilities
The school premises which are independent are fully air-conditioned. Various playing and learning equipment is provided as well as a small library. Smartboard is equipped in every classroom.
Meals for whole day classes are in accordance with that recommended by the Education Bureau. Beds are provided for students.
